I nornally dread going to dental appointments as they are quite uncomfortable and always feel so long but today I went for a dental hygenist appointment with Gita and she was extremely thorough, informative and the time really did fly by! Amazing experience today at this clinic - for starters it is super clean, modern, and well equipped. Gita the hygienist was lovely and very professional. She diagnosed a few flaws in my flossing technique and gave me some great tips on how to improve, including some I haven’t heard of before. All the staff was very professional and easy to deal with. Highly recommended!

I recently visited for a check up Dr Meldrum who was really lovely and took the time to explain everything to me. After that I had an hygienist appointment with Dr Gita Broka who was so gentle and really eased my nerves as someone who hates coming to the dentist. Highly recommend!

I felt welcomed and at ease from the moment I stepped into their clinic. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, if you can say so about a dental clinic :). The hygienist Gita was friendly, professional, gentle, took the time to listen to any concerns and thoroughly talked to me about each step of the process, making sure I felt comfortable throughout my visit.I felt confident in her expertise and left with a smile that I am proud to show off, and I will definitely be returning for all my future dental needs.

I have been attending the InnovaDent since it opened I am extremely happy with the way they treat their patients. I get seen by Lisa she is such an amazing person not once did she make me feel uncomfortable all the staff are friendly. It’s beautiful and airy. I have had very bad experience with other dentist I am extremely happy with the service they providing they really do take care of their patients. I have also been given a treatment plan with all the breakdown which is extremely helpful. They also have a payment plan which really helpful for those who would like to pay monthly. I can guaranty you will not be disappointed with at all. One of the best dentist better than the NHS

I had an issue with a cracked tooth which has been resolved quickly by the friendly staff at InnovaDent who booked me in on the same day for treatment. They have great facilities on site and clinic is very close to the station. Strongly Recommended!!

What is root canal treatment?

With the amazing advancements and innovation in dentistry over the past decade, root canal treatment has never been a more streamlined procedure.

Root canal treatment is indispensable in salvaging an infected tooth from the need to be extracted. A tooth may have become infected if it’s sustained an injury or severe decay, and warrants attention right away.

The steps to having root canal treatment

A root canal is generally performed over 2 or 3 appointments.

Examination: your tooth will be examined, and we will check if the infection has spread to neighbouring teeth.

Disinfection: the root canals are cleared and cleaned, so the decayed and damaged tooth pulp (connective tissue, blood vessels and cells) is removed from the tooth.

Sealing and strengthening: the tooth is filled and sealed, to stop infection to other parts of the teeth, and neighbouring teeth. A bespoke crown is then made to fit over the top, restoring the aesthetic of the previously infected tooth, and allowing you to chew with ease again.

How will root canal treatment benefit me?

As infection can cause discolouration, a root canal will reverse this, to give you back a natural and healthy tooth aesthetic.
